TEXT: “Then he answered and soaked unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zech. 4 :6.
OFM Rhema For Living 11th June 2023 MESSAGE: Many things believers go through in pains would have been avoided if they give themselves to depending on the Holy Ghost whom God gave to them as comforter, the one to abide with them teaching, helping and guiding them in life. Jesus speaking in John 14 :16; “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.. The Holy Spirit dwelleth with the believer and abides with him, yet many do not take advantage of such divine personality because they refuse to yield themselves to Him and continually commune with Him in fellowship for Him to express Himself through them.
Without communion one cannot enjoy the ministry of the Holy Spirit because He requires fellowship to guide you, quicken you, teach you, lift up His standard against every flood of the enemy (Isa. 59 :19). 2 Corinthians 13 :14; “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen”. It takes communion to enjoy the Holy Ghost.
Jesus expects every child of God to occupy till He comes (Luke 19 :13). He expects them to live in dominion keeping every good thing committed into their hands as He keeps all the Father committed to Him (John 10 :27 – 29). 2 Timothy 1 :14; therefore instructs, “That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us”.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I make a fresh commitment to depend on your Spirit.
