Focus Scripture: “And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:” (Luke 19:20)
Our Focal Scripture sheds light on the slothful servant who did nothing with his pound. That servant hid his master’s pound in a napkin, he covered it, he refused to use it, and he ended up without profit. He got the same thing that others got, but because he was not willing to do something with what he got, he ended up empty handed.
