Morning Prayer for Today June 24, 2026 – Wednesday | Loving Christ and Walking with the Holy Spirit
In John 14:15–16, Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to help you and be with you forever.” These words remind us that genuine love for Christ is expressed through obedience and that we are never left to follow Him alone. God has given us the Holy Spirit to comfort, guide, strengthen, and remain with us always.
As you begin today, let this prayer draw you into a deeper love for Jesus and a greater dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Powerful Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your boundless love revealed through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for inviting me into a relationship where I can know You, follow You, and experience Your presence every day.
Lord Jesus, I desire to love You not only with my words but with my life. Help me to obey Your commands with a willing and joyful heart. Teach me to choose Your ways over my own and to trust that Your will is always good, wise, and perfect.
Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, my Helper and Counselor. Holy Spirit, fill me afresh today. Guide my decisions, shape my thoughts, and strengthen me to live in a way that honors Christ. Remind me of God’s truth when I am uncertain and comfort me when I am weary.
Give me discernment to recognize temptation and courage to walk in righteousness. Let Your presence produce in me a spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Father, may my life reflect a genuine devotion to You. Let my obedience flow from love, not obligation, and may everything I do bring glory to Your name. Use me to encourage others and to share the hope that is found in Christ alone.
Today, I declare that I love the Lord and desire to walk in His ways. The Holy Spirit dwells within me, leading, strengthening, and comforting me. I will follow God’s voice, trust His guidance, and live faithfully for His glory.
