Morning Prayer for Today (December 28, 2025): Sunday – Seeking God First
The way we begin our morning often sets the tone for the entire day. Psalm 5:3 shows us the power of starting the day in prayer:
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
When we lift our voices to God at the start of the day, we align our hearts with His will and position ourselves to receive His guidance. This morning, choose to seek the Lord first and look up in faith, knowing He hears your prayers.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this new morning. As I begin this day, I lift my voice to You and direct my prayer toward heaven. I look to You with expectation, trusting that You hear me and care deeply about every detail of my life.
Guide my thoughts, words, and actions today. Help me remain focused on Your purpose and not be distracted by worry or fear. Let my heart stay sensitive to Your voice and obedient to Your leading.
Father, I place this day in Your hands. I trust You to open the right doors, give me wisdom for every decision, and surround me with Your peace. I look up to You, confident that You are already at work. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
