Morning Prayer for Today (December 11, 2025): Thursday | Receiving Rest From Jesus
Each new day brings responsibilities, expectations, and pressures that can easily weigh on the heart. But Jesus extends a gentle, life-giving invitation that transforms the way we carry our burdens. In Matthew 11:28, He says:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
This is not just physical rest—it’s spiritual renewal, emotional refreshing, and strength for the journey. Today, Jesus invites you to bring every weight, concern, and hidden burden to Him. His rest is available, His arms are open, and His peace is waiting to restore your soul.

Powerful Morning Prayer for Today
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for calling me to come to You, especially when I feel burdened, weary, or overwhelmed. Today, I bring every concern, every pressure, and every hidden weight to Your feet. I surrender my stress, my fears, my anxiety, and my uncertainty to You.
Fill me with Your rest that refreshes the soul. Let Your gentle presence quiet my mind and strengthen my heart. Teach me to walk in Your rhythm of grace and to trust that You carry the load with me.
Jesus, make me sensitive to Your voice, guided by Your peace, and grounded in Your love. May today be filled with Your strength, Your calmness, and Your renewing rest. I receive Your peace for this day and Your rest for my soul. Amen.
