MFM Devotional 22 March 2024 TOPIC: How To Keep Your Heaven Open (3)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 8-10, Hebrews 9-10
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 8:11-12
11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.
12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
𝕄𝔼𝕄𝕆ℝ𝕐 𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕊𝔼:
Acts 20:35 – “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Giving always ensures continuous blessings.

MFM DEVOTIONAL 22 MARCH 2024 MESSAGE:
Beloved, we shall round off the discourse on how to keep our heaven open today.
Giving offerings to God is another way to keep our heavens open or sustain our open heavens. Our offerings determine our blessings from God. Remember that Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Many people expect blessings from God without giving anything to Him. That Scripture says, when you give, you receive, and if it is in that order, you get a good measure that will overflow.
Giving fetches us immense blessings from God because it is a proof that we love, respect and trust Him. Giving is also an expression of our obedience to Him. From the foregoing Scripture, we establish some more facts about giving: God will raise men to give to you and we know that is not hard for God to do at all. When you become a giver, you automatically move to the realm of a receiver. This is established in the word of God.
However, beloved, it is not every offering that God accepts. You must ensure that you give acceptable offerings to God. The Bible says that God loves a cheerful giver in 2 Corinthians 9: 7. Give willingly to God and not reluctantly or under compulsion. Any offering given grudgingly or out of eye service is not acceptable unto God.
Secondly, this Scripture says you must give your offerings with joy and thanksgiving. Give to God cheerfully and always. Only continuous giving will produce continuous open heavens. Therefore, I would like to encourage you to be a generous and cheerful giver. Seek out opportunities to give unto God, and endeavour to also increase what you give. It is all to your best interest.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
I pray that the Almighty God will give you the grace to heed the foregoing pieces of advice and keep your heaven perpetually open, in the name of Jesus.
