TOPIC: Put Your Faith To Work

𝔹𝕀𝔹𝕃𝔼 𝕀ℕ 𝕆ℕ𝔼 𝕐𝔼𝔸ℝ: Genesis 22-24

𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝕊ℂℝ𝕀ℙ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼: Numbers 33:50-56

𝕄𝔼𝕄𝕆ℝ𝕐 𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕊𝔼:
2 Corinthians 1:20 – “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”

𝕄𝕆𝕋𝕀𝕍𝔸𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝔸𝕃 ℚ𝕌𝕆𝕋𝔼𝕊:
Hope is putting faith to work when doubting would be easier.

𝗜 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛, 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦.

MFM DEVOTIONAL 8TH JANUARY 2024 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼:

Faith bears good fruits and yields awesome rewards when it is strong and active. In other words, as a believer, you must always put faith to action. This is also the secret to growing your faith and converting God’s promises to testimonies.

When Israel was preparing to enter Canaan, they put their faith into action. As our Fire Scripture reveals, God instructed Moses to tell His children that as soon as they get to Canaan, the first thing they should do is to divide the land among the tribes of Israel. The larger portion should go to the larger tribes and the smaller portion should go to the fewer tribes. Though God had promised Abraham that His children would possess the land of Canaan, the Israelites still needed to put their faith into action in order to experience the fulfilment of the promise.

God’s promise never fails. In our Memory Verse, 2 Corinthians 1:20, the Bible says, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” Beloved, you can only get the best reward for your faith when you put it to work. In dividing the land before they entered it, the Israelites demonstrated their faith in God’s great promises. In Numbers 34:16-29, men were chosen to practically divide the land as God had earlier directed them. God honoured and rewarded their action by making them possess the land.

Dearly beloved, has God made you a personal promise? Then remember that faith is acting as if you are already in possession of it. Begin to thank Him for His faithfulness and the fulfilment of the promise (2 Corinthians 1:20). In faith, choose the name you will call your spouse: darling, sweetie, honey, etc. Begin to choose the suit or the wedding gown you will buy and wear. Those steps of faith will hasten the manifestation of your spouse and your marital testimony. Has God promised you a child or children? Put your faith to action today. Begin to buy your maternity dresses, baby things and give names to your babies though they are on their way. Has God promised you financial breakthroughs? Put your faith to work by working even harder and God will come through for you, in the name of Jesus.

ℙℝ𝔸𝕐𝔼ℝ ℙ𝕆𝕀ℕ𝕋𝕊 FOR TODAY:

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. Father, as I knock on faith’s door today, let it open to me, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, give me the grace to always walk by faith, not by sight, in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, give me the grace that turns promises to testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
4. O God, arise and give me the grace to always put my faith to work, in the name of Jesus.

5. O God, give me the faith that is big enough to overcome every obstacle and challenge in my life, in the name of Jesus.

6. My Father, give me the faith that never doubts Your words and promises, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, I thank You because Your promises are yea and amen, in the name of Jesus.
