MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 7 JUNE 2024 MESSAGE:
God did not create us to live alone or remain in loneliness. Rather, He desires that we relate with one another with the warmth of His love and live in peaceful harmony as much as possible and as long as we live.
He started the plan of companionship right from the Garden of Eden when he saw the aloneness of man, Adam, in spite of the animals that were all around him. We need to be in the company of our kind, just like birds of the same feathers flock together. If animals, love to be with their own kind, why not man.
God decided to make a being like Adam; hence, the woman who was brought out of the rib of the man. One of her major assignments was to be a companion to the man. Since creation, marriage remains the very expression of God on earth for deep intimacy and undivided companionship. From here, we began to see all other human relationships coming forth: parent-child, sibling-sibling, friend-friend, and so on.
In each instance of companionship, we are to be our brother’s keeper, a help and strength to the weaker party. This explains today’s Fire Scripture, that when one falls, the other helps him to rise again. But where there is no companion, and a good one at that, he remains fallen and unable to rise again.
Where are you today brother and sister? Are you alone? Decide to have a good interpersonal relationship with your others: neighbours, friends, colleagues at work, classmates and church members. Don’t stay aloof and exist like an island! Be good to those around you in word and in deed. It is true that the world is full of wickedness and cruelty. Remember, you are not living in the desert. There will always be good and bad people in this world. You can’t avoid being offended. Find a place to forgive and move on.
No matter where we find ourselves, the Bible implores us to live peacefully, as much as possible with those around us. Be a godly example to help some other people become better. Do away with suspicion, hatred and the likes. You may need that fellow’s assistance one day. Demonstrate the life and love of Christ through your relationships, and live a holy life so that you can see God (Hebrews 12:14).

1. Power of godly and healthy relationship, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord Jesus, teach me to love others as You do.
3. Father Lord, help me to live a life of love and holiness unto You and my fellow men, in the name of Jesus.

4. Spirit of hatred and unforgiveness, depart from my life, in the name of Jesus
5. Father Lord, surround me with godly people, in the name of Jesus.

7. Agenda of loneliness unto destruction over my life, be destroyed now, in the name of Jesus.
