MFM Devotional 31st January 2025 – MESSAGE
Wicked conspiracies and plots from the enemy are real. and they often seek to derail our purpose and cause fear. However. the word of God provides us with assurance and strategies to counteract these evil schemes. Psalm 2:1-4 reveals the futility of conspiracies against God’s anointed, emphasising that God laughs at such plots and holds them in derision. This passage reminds us that any conspiracy against a child of God is ultimately against God Himself, and it will not stand.
Let me tell you a short story on this. In the popular market called Eko ldumota in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria, there was a popular and respected fabric trader, Madam Ajoke. Her success stirred jealousy among competitors, led by Madam Bola, who conspired to ruin her reputation.
One evening, Anu, Madam Ajoke’s staff, overheard traders discussing Bola’s plot to spread lies about Ajoke’s fabrics being fake. Fearful but faithful, Madam Ajoke prayed after Anu had recounted all she had heard. Despite fewer customers patronising her, the next week, due to rumours that she was selling fake fabrics, Madam Ajoke remained resolute and steadfast in prayer.
Out of the blue, Madam Joy, one of Bola’s friends, had a major disagreement and decided to expose her friend. Early on Monday, Madam Joy publicly exposed Bola’s deceit. Consequently, Ajoke’s reputation was restored as customers shared their positive experiences. God turned the conspiracy into foolishness, and Bola faced public shame while Ajoke’s business flourished.
Beloved. Proverbs 21:30 states that no wisdom, understanding, or counsel can prevail against the Lord. This means that any evil plan formed against you is destined to fail because you are under God’s mighty hand. In the book of Esther, Haman conspired to destroy the Jews, but God turned his evil plot on its head.
As you navigate through this year, be vigilant and prayerful. Yes! Prayerfully reject every form of conspiracy against you, your family, and your endeavours. Declare God’s word over your life and trust in His unfailing protection. Remember, you are more than a conqueror through Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

MORNING
1. Every evil conspiracy against my life, be exposed and destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
2. O God, arise and scatter the plans of the wicked against me, in the name of Jesus.
3. I declare that no counsel of the enemy shall prevail against me, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I nullify every evil plot formed against my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
5. Powers conspiring against my progress, be defeated, in the name of Jesus.
6. O Lord, laugh at the plans of the wicked and turn their counsel to foolishness, in the name of Jesus.
7. I stand in the authority of Christ and say no to every evil conspiracy, in the name of Jesus.
