MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 31 JULY 2024 MESSAGE:
Growth is an essential characteristic of all living things. It is also necessary in the spiritual. Failure to grow keeps you in subjection to strange powers. You remain a slave to all kinds of unrighteousness and elements of the world. It means that such a Christian in spite of being born again for many years lacks basic biblical principles, knows or does little to show that he or she is a citizen of the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is not in meat and drink but in the Holy Ghost. You can’t claim to be a Christian and remain one that would be spoonfed forever. You must rise above spiritual infant stage. Quit drinking milk and step up into eating strong spiritual diet. That is, from the very elementary things in the spirit, grow into adulthood spiritually, a position that not just man but even God will be proud of you.
You have been saved to be an eye opener to others. Remaining where you are since the day you accepted Christ is a sign of stagnancy and lack of growth. God is looking for those that will herald His word to the nooks and crannies of the world. Do not be like the Galatian Christians who first believed but suddenly fell back from faith (Galatians 4:1-3). You must rise from this very low spiritual level to a higher one. Quit the spiritual kindergarten class and grow! You need to take some steps and do certain things in this regard.
Firstly, you must get back to the altar and renew your relationship with Christ. Promise to be a more serious Christian who desire growth. Secondly, you must be a word addict; reading and studying the Bible daily and meditating upon it to do what is contained in it according to Joshua 1:8. Thirdly, be teachable. That is, be a learner everyday.
Be a Christian that is not satisfied with his present spiritual level. Do away with your old nature, the old man and unrighteous ways. Become a new creature everyday as you grow in the Lord. Above all, be a friend and partner of the Holy Spirit. When you are led and guided by the Holy Spirit, you shall never fail or fall.
TODAY’S PRAYER POINTS:

1. My Father, deliver me from stagnating powers, in the name of Jesus.
2. O Lord, give me an unquenchable desire to grow in the Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
3. Powers that want to limit my spiritual advancement, you shall not prosper, die now, in the name of Jesus.

4. I refuse to be a spiritual Lilliput, in the name of Jesus.
5. Holy Ghost, ignite spiritual fire in me now, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Father, take me from where I am to where You want me to be, in the name of Jesus.
7. O Lord, increase my speed and take me higher, in the name of Jesus.
