Beloved, wisdom comes from God. In today’s Fire Scripture Daniel said, “And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to them that know understanding” The Bible adds that the LORD gives wisdom and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6). Also, God, the owner and giver of wisdom has promised to give it to those who ask.
James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.” Similarly, the word of God says, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist (Luke 21:15). Your knowledge of the fact that we serve a faithful God should drive you to pray, get wisdom from Him and enjoy its inestimable benefits.
The benefits of divine wisdom are unquantifiable. It is so precious and life-transforming that it should top the list of the rational things anyone should seek. That is why the Bible says that wisdom is the principal thing to get. Let us examine some of the benefits of divine wisdom.
First, wisdom delivers happiness to those who have and apply it. Proverbs 3:13-16 says, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.” Wherever you see unhappiness, there is lack of wisdom there. Whatever God’s word says, make sure that you do it. That will make you a wise person and you will be happy.
Wisdom also gives access to long life. Proverbs 3:16 say, “Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.” It gives riches and honour. It gives peace and confers grace and glory.
Obedience to God’s Word will give you wisdom. The wiser you are, the more grace you will have. I enjoin to get wisdom.

MORNING
1. Father, give me a mouth and a wisdom that my enemies cannot gainsay or resist, in the name of Jesus.
2. O God, anoint my head with the oil of wisdom, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, by Your wisdom, fight all my battles and give me victory, in the name of Jesus.

4. I access the happiness that comes with wisdom, in the name of Jesus.
5. I access the long life that comes with God’s wisdom, in the name of Jesus.
