MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 24 JULY 2024 MESSAGE
Throughout history, God uses families to fulfill His agenda on earth. He started by creating a man and a woman, Adam and Eve. Male and female created He them, and not the other way round. He did not create them, male and male or female and female.
Matthew 19:4-6 says, “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
Everyone God has used or uses comes from a family. Likewise anyone used or being used by the devil comes from a family. A person would be used by God or the devil depending on the kind of family he or she comes from or the kind of family he or she adopts. This brings us to the issue of family management.
The Bible stipulates how God wants the family to be managed. Remember that Proverbs 22:6 clearly states: “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” In the building and management of the family, every member has a role to play in order to create the balance as required by God. In Ephesians 6: 1-9, the Bible tells us the children’s role, and the reason for that. It also talks about the role of fathers. The same thing goes for servants. Also, in Ephesians 5: 22-33, we see the role of wives and husbands.
When these guidelines are carefully followed, the family is in peace and prosperity, and there will be no room for the enemy to come in and launch his attack.
TODAY’S PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Father Lord, let the grace to live according to Your will come upon my family, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father Lord, give us the wisdom to obey Your word in my family, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every power that wants to turn things upside down in my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Every enemy of peace in my family, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise and fight for my family, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father Lord, restore Your order in my family, in the name of Jesus.
7. My family shall not fail by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
