MFM Daily Devotional 17 June 2025: MESSAGE
There are secrets we need to know as Christians in the place of prayer. There is a remarkable difference between ordinary prayer and prayer warfare. To be quite honest with you, prayer is war. Prayerlessness or giving up before the arrival of a blessing is giving demons cheap victory. There are two military strategies expressly applicable to the life of a Christian in spiritual warfare. The first is to study the enemies. The second strategy is called “attack is the best form of defense.” Victory is very certain if you follow these strategies.
Know your enemies and launch an offensive against them! Prayer warriors never quit! Prayer is a double action. It has a lower human level and an upper spiritual level. The greatest prayer warrior is meek and humble enough to relate effectively with fellow men. However, in the realm of the spirit, even his weakest prayer can send demons on the run. Nothing may seem to be happening in the physical as you pray but a lot is happening in the spirit realm. So, it is dangerous to reckon with the physical if you are engaged in prayer warfare.
Daniel’s experience also explains the reasons for delays in receiving some of the blessings we expect from God when praying. Many delays in the way of our miracles, expectations, breakthroughs and other blessings are not from God. Heaven released the answer to Daniel’s prayers the very first time he asked but he didn’t receive it until twenty-one days later. It took an angelic intervention for the release of answers to his prayers. Your prayers can demolish all spiritual barriers to your blessings. You can break that backbone of delay today.
The devil can only hold back answers to our prayers for a while. He does not have the power to hold it back forever. Demons can only hold on to the blessings of a child of God for as long as the Christian does not pray. As soon as a child of God begins to pray and continues the prayer, spiritual enemies lose their grips on blessings from above. Beloved, you need to keep praying without ceasing until you receive angelic intervention in your prayers. The answers to your prayers shall locate you by fire, in Jesus’ name.
