TOPIC: Do You Have Everything You Need?

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” – Ephesians 1:3-6

PONDER THIS
Do you have all the love you need? Or all the patience you need? Or all the courage you need? Or all the faith you need? Or all the wisdom you need? In general, do you have all you need? Few would say yes unless you understand where I’m coming from. Ephesians 1:3 says, “God has blessed us with EVERY (every) spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” So why don’t we have them? We haven’t taken hold of what we’ve received. We need to put the foot of faith on the promises of God and say, “That is mine.”

When you are living in victory, it’s not according to your ability; it’s your response to His ability. In Romans 8:37, Paul said, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” It is time to claim the spiritual blessings you have in Him. Live in the victory of Jesus.

• When do you feel needy in your faith? How do you respond in those moments?
• What is the difference between believing victory is our responsibility and seeing victory as our response to God’s ability?

PRACTICE THIS
Talk to God about the areas in which you struggle to trust His victory.
