TOPIC: Tell Satan the Truth
I talk to Satan every once in a while. I don’t make a practice of it, but when he taunts or tries to terrorize me (trying to use my pain or paralysis against me), I don’t let him get away with it. I shut him down.
I talk to Satan the way Jesus talked to him. With scripture. Like, with my chronic pain and quadriplegia? I’ll say, “Satan, you intended all this to harm me, but God intended it for my good, and for the saving of many lives.” You know if the devil is interested, that’s from Genesis 50, verse 20. And he hates truth. He’s the father of lies.
And so, the next time you feel as though evil personified is lurking behind your circumstances? You terrorize your adversary for a change. Tell Satan the truth; get rid of him with the Word of God.
