Topic: Your Number One Enemy
Scripture: “Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7
It’s a good thing to know who your enemies are isn’t it? Like, you know, who’s out to make a fool of you, trip you up, slander you behind your back. And there’s one enemy that’s relentless. Your number one enemy, it’s Satan. And man, he’s not your friend.
He cannot be trusted, he does not have your good in mind. He’s out to deceive you, accuse you, and devour your soul. It may sound like he’s offering you pleasure or satisfaction or even justice, but don’t believe it. Don’t even go there. And remember, your number one tactic against this enemy?
The Bible says, resisting, dig deep, dig in, and just say no when he tempts you. ‘Cause never once when you listened to Satan did it do you any good. It only corroded your character.… shriveled your heart. And so please, safeguard your heart; keep your soul strong. Resist the devil and hide yourself in Jesus Christ, for only his victory over Satan can keep you safe
