Ephesians 2:8, TPT – For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!
Today’s Word
Today, you don’t have to prove to God that you’re worthy of His love. He’s already made you worthy by His grace. You don’t have to perform better so you deserve His goodness. He knew every mistake you would make, every weakness that you have, and He’s already accepted and approved you. Quit trying to win His approval. Quit thinking that if you read your Bible enough, pray enough, quote enough Scripture, serve enough, or give enough that you qualify for His love. You’re not supposed to live striving, pressured, hoping you can measure up, hoping you can do good enough, and then maybe you can earn His blessings. You don’t have to earn it. Rest in who He made you to be. He’s already said, “You’re My beloved child in whom I am well pleased.” It wasn’t based on what you did or didn’t do; it’s based on who you are. When He breathed life into you, He put His blessing on you. You’re already qualified. Take the pressure off and walk in that blessing.
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that there is nothing I have to do to earn Your love and approval because of the grace and gift You have brought me in Jesus. Thank You that I can rest in who You made me and feel good about who I am. I believe that You are pleased with me today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
