JOEL OSTEEN DEVOTIONAL 14 APRIL 2024 MESSAGE

Joel Osteen Devotional 14 April 2024 – Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria Osteen. Read Sunday Daily Devotional Message by Joel Osteen.

TOPIC: Call on Him

Today’s Scripture

Psalm 91:15, NIV – He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

Today’s Word

When you face situations that seem impossible in your everyday life, God says, “I dare you to ask Me for the help you need.” You may think God has bigger things to deal with than getting a car started or paying a bill. But you are God’s biggest deal. You are the apple of His eye. So often we limit God. We have a small view of Him. We think He’s over there busy running the universe. “I can’t bother God with these small things. I can only pray if I’m facing something really big.”

God knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows your thoughts before you think them and your words before you speak them. You’re not inconveniencing God by asking for help in your everyday life. God wants to be good to you. He wants to show you His favor in new ways. It’s not enough to just think it. It’s not enough to just hope something supernatural happens. He’s saying today, “I dare you to ask and watch Me show up in a big way.”

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for Your heart of compassion that longs to be gracious to me. Thank You that it is Your pleasure to give me the kingdom, to answer me when I call on You. I am taking the limits off You and expecting to be surprised by Your goodness and love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
