Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 4th November 2023
Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 4th November 2023 – Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria Osteen. Read Saturday Daily Devotional Message by Joel Osteen.
TOPIC: Green Pastures
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Psalm 23:2, NKJV – He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
TODAY’S WORD
You can be in a desert, a difficult place, and God will have a green pasture for you. In a pandemic, you could be worried and upset, but look at you, so strong and confident. You know God is still on the throne. You know He holds victory in store for the upright. You know that what was meant for harm He’s turning to your advantage. It’s barren all around you, but you’re in a green pasture. While others are complaining, talking about how it’s not going to work out, you have a song of praise, you’re expecting God’s favor, you’re declaring His promises.
What you’re up against may be difficult, but don’t worry. God has a green pasture prepared for wherever He takes you. Going through a divorce, taking the medical treatment, or getting laid off from your job is hard, but you’re going to discover a green pasture. God has grace for every season. I believe that right now strength is coming into you, fresh vision, fresh anointing. Things are about to change in your favor.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You are my Good Shepherd, and You lead me to green pastures wherever I go. Thank You that I never need to worry because You have grace for whatever I face. I’m going to keep a song of praise always on my lips. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
About Joel Osteen
Raised in Houston, Texas, with a loving family of seven and world-renowned parents in full-time ministry, Joel Osteen never imagined that he would follow so closely in his father’s footsteps. As a young man, his training and interests were behind the scenes in television production, though he was close to his father in ministry.
His father always encouraged him to preach, but Joel would politely decline time and time again until one day in October 1999 when his father was admitted to the hospital with kidney complications. Joel finally agreed to preach the next Sunday, and his father passed the following week. Joel’s first sermon was the last his father ever heard. Joel and his wife, Victoria, were suddenly thrust into full-time leadership of Lakewood Church.
