TOPIC: The Power of a Changed Mind
Today’s Scripture
“You have circled this mountain long enough; turn northward.” – Deuteronomy 2:3, AMP
Today’s Word
After the Israelites had been freed from slavery, they failed to enter the Promised Land because of disobedience and ended up wandering around the same mountain in the wilderness for forty years. They became so conditioned to not expecting anything good that God had to speak to them for them to break out of that negative mentality. He had to get their hopes up, to give them a vision for abundance and victory by changing their minds.
You may feel stuck in a struggle that’s never going to happen. God is saying to you, “You’ve circled this mountain long enough.” He’s about to do a new thing, something that you’ve never seen, but you have to do your part and get a new mind-set. There’s nothing more powerful than a changed mind.
Have a new perspective. God is putting an end to what’s held you back. No more wandering, no more seeing the Promised Land and not experiencing it. Promises that you’ve given up on are still going to come to pass. Dreams that seem impossible are still going to happen.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to circle the same mountain and feel stuck in life. Thank You for the power that comes as I change my mind and align it with what You say in Your Word. I believe that You are freeing me from all the things that have held me back from going into my promised land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
