The apostle Paul doesn’t say that you’re always going to be at peace with everyone. Yes, you should go the extra mile and do all you can to live at peace. But if they still don’t want to have peace, you need to move on. You have a destiny to fulfill. Life is too short for you to be worrying about people who don’t want to have peace with you. Don’t frustrate yourself trying to make something happen that they don’t want. That’s not being disrespectful; that’s being responsible with the gifts God has given you.
You won’t fulfill your destiny if you’re trying to keep everyone happy. Some people demand that you meet their expectations and just want you for what you can do for them. Those are distractions. Quit letting them squeeze you into their mold. You need to gradually break away from people like that. You weren’t created to be controlled and not be able to pursue your dreams and have time to do what God put in your heart.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You that You have called me to love others and to live at peace, but not to try to fix them or make them happy. Help me to not allow others to squeeze me into their mold. I declare that I will not be distracted from the dreams You have put in my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
