TODAY’S WORD
One of the enemy’s favorite lies is, “You don’t have what it takes. You’re not smart enough, talented enough, pretty enough, popular enough. You’ll never be enough.” If you make the mistake of dwelling on it, these little suggestions can do great damage. It’s all about the hidden agenda. The enemy will never tell you, “If you believe you’re not enough, this lie will grow to where you end up living insecure, giving up on your dreams, and missing your destiny.” If you could see the truth, if the intent were obvious, you would reject it. That’s why he has to use deception and hidden motives. He’ll start with small lies to see if you take the bait. “Your business is in trouble. That pain is serious. Your child will never make anything of his life.” The enemy sows seeds of doubt, seeds of compromise, seeds of discouragement, seeds of fear. He’s trying to get you to quit believing, quit hoping, quit dreaming. Tune all that out. You have a destiny to fulfill. You have an assignment to accomplish. Stay with what God says.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that I can put a guard over my mind and stop allowing negative thoughts to enter and play over and over. Thank You that I can clear out all the thoughts that limit me and tell me what I can’t do. Help me to dwell on what You have to say about me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
About Joel Osteen
