POWER COMMUNION SERVICE – WEDNESDAY, 17TH MARCH 2021
TOPIC: Devotion To God And Provision From God
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): Matthew 6:33
SERVICE OBJECTIVE:
Understanding the connection between devotion to God and provision from God. It is clearly evident that there is a connection between the devotion to God and provision from God
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. There is a connection between the pursuit of God and the possession of good
2. There is a connection between our heart for God and our part in life
3. There is a connection between the fear of God and the flow of good
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF THE CONNECTION BETWEEN DEVOTION TO GOD & PROVISION FROM GOD:
1. Abraham (Gen. 12:1-5; 19:27; 18:17-19; 13:2; 24:1)
The step of devotion to God provokes the step of provision from God
2. Isaac (Gen. 24:63; Josh. 1:8; Prov. 23:7; 25:21; 26:12-14)
There is a connection between your meditations and your manifestations
3. Jacob (Gen. 28:12, 17-22; 32:24-28)
4. Joseph (Gen. 37:2; 42:18; 39:2, 21; Jam. 4:8; Gen. 41:39-44)
When you see the palpable presence around a person, it is a person that is an active pursuer of God (Jam. 4:8)
Your heart for God will always guarantee your part in life
5. Job (Job 1:1-5; 27:3-6; 29:22-23)
Job was addicted to God and allergic to evil (Job 1:3b)
6. David (Ps. 122:1; 42:1-2; 27:4; 1Chron. 29:2-5; 132:1-5; 122:9)

People can give without loving but it is not possible to love without giving

If you pursue God you must possess good, if your conscience is intact
WHAT CONSTITUTES OUR DEVOTION TO GOD?
1. A buoyant, personal relationship altar with God (Gen. 19:27)
You need your personal altar to deal with your personal devil; the pastor may help to cast the devil out but you have to keep the devil out! The pastor may help push you to start but you need to keep your vehicle of destiny in motion.
Whatever you do, ensure that your personal altar is intact. Let food have no appeal in your mouth until you have eaten the Word of God (Matt. 4:4). Let phone not have any appeal to you until you have phoned heaven so that you don’t confuse your signals If the first fruit is holy, the lump will be holy; what you do with the first minutes of your day determines what will happen to the rest of your day
2. A good public testimony of our Christian faith (Dan. 6:4-5)
God may know that you belong to Him but do your family members, friends and colleagues know? This is where those who want you dead are convinced that you are of God
3. A proven walk of financial integrity (Job 1:1)
Many cannot remain in the blessing because they are crooked in their operations. Uprightness in financial matters is the doorway to heaven’s blessing in financial matters and crookedness in financial matters will lead to wretchedness. God can show you the way of hidden riches in secret places without the crookedness of our generation
4. Unconditional obedience to God (Gen. 12:4-5)
Obedience in lifestyle, in the walk of the covenant, in financial matters etc.
The way of God is secure enough to make you anything you want to be
It takes Kingdom principles to establish Kingdom products; what principles will do for you, prayers cannot solve.
It is the principles of God that ensure durable riches (Prov. 8:18)
Any service you cannot pay for, you are not qualified. It is not your level – if you can’t pay your driver, drive yourself! If you can’t pay your cook, cook by yourself!
- PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. To You be all the glory Lord in Jesus’ Name! - Father, I come before You today to receive Your help and mercy; help me Lord to obey You unconditionally, to walk in financial integrity, and to maintain a good public testimony. Father,
- I pray for fresh fire on my prayer altar and study of the Word
- Father, tonight, I apply for fresh fire of devotion and dedication to You. I receive a baptism of fresh fire and dedication to You now in Jesus’ Name!
COMMUNION FOCUS:
Communion of devotion and dedication
The release of the help of God
– The grace to be as committed as the Master was to His Father is released via this communion
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– In this end time people will see the combination of holiness and abundance
– Every affliction and trace of disease in your body is flushed out!
