In the aftermath of last year’s monster tornado outbreak in Kentucky, the world was moved to tears by a video of a man playing the piano. He and his sister had returned to their destroyed home. The roof was gone, and the house was barely standing. Against one partial wall was the man’s water-soaked piano. He sat down and began to play it, and his sister turned aside without his knowledge to capture the moment on video.
His song: “There’s Something About That Name.”
Even the greatest of evils cannot stand against Christ our Savior. Storms come, death intrudes, misunderstandings occur, and troubles arise. But our sovereign Lord reigns on His throne at the right side of the Father, and He sees everything. Misses nothing. Cares deeply. Intercedes constantly. And He will turn the tide of events in a heavenly direction.
There’s just something about that Name!
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there’s something about that name.
