At a wedding in Cana, a simple instruction was given—yet it carried powerful meaning: “Do whatever He tells you.” These words, spoken by Mary, point to a timeless principle for every believer.
Obedience unlocks God’s power.
The servants did not fully understand what Jesus was about to do. They were asked to fill jars with water—an ordinary task with no visible connection to the miracle that would follow. Yet they obeyed.
And that obedience made room for transformation.
Sometimes, God’s instructions may not make immediate sense. He may lead you in ways that feel unusual, uncomfortable, or unclear. But your role is not always to understand—it is to obey.
Faith is expressed through obedience.
When you choose to follow what Jesus says, even in small things, you position yourself to experience His power in ways you never imagined. What seems ordinary can become extraordinary when God is involved.
The servants saw water turned into wine—not because they questioned, delayed, or resisted—but because they obeyed.
How often do we hesitate when God speaks?
We want clarity before action. We want guarantees before obedience. But God invites us to trust Him step by step.
“Do whatever He tells you.”
These words are simple, but they hold the key to a life led by God. A life where miracles happen, where transformation takes place, and where His will is fulfilled.
So today, listen closely. What is God asking of you? It may be something small—a step of faith, an act of kindness, a decision to trust Him.
Whatever it is, choose obedience.

Lord Jesus, help me to listen to Your voice and to obey whatever You tell me. Even when I do not fully understand, give me the faith to trust You.
