There comes a point in our walk with God where we realize that success, progress, or opportunity means nothing without His presence. Moses had seen God’s power, experienced His guidance, and witnessed His miracles—but above all, he valued God’s presence.
So he made a bold declaration: “If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here.”
This was not fear—it was clarity.
Moses understood that without God, even the promised land would not be worth it. Achievements without God’s presence lead to emptiness. Progress without His guidance can lead us in the wrong direction.
How often do we move ahead with plans, decisions, and ambitions without first seeking God’s presence?
We ask for blessings, but sometimes forget to ask for Him.
But Moses shows us a better way—to prioritize God above everything else. To desire His presence more than results. To value His guidance more than our own understanding.
God’s presence brings peace where there is confusion.
It brings direction where there is uncertainty.
It brings assurance where there is fear.
When God goes with you, you are never alone, never lost, and never without help.
So today, make it your prayer: Lord, I don’t want to go anywhere without You.
Before every decision, seek Him. Before every step, trust Him. Because where His presence leads, His peace follows.
Let’s Pray:
Lord God, I desire Your presence above everything else. More than success, more than progress, more than anything this world can offer—I want You.
Help me not to move ahead without You. Teach me to seek You first in every decision and every step I take.
Lord, guide me with Your presence. Let Your peace confirm my direction and Your Spirit lead my path.
If You are not in it, I do not want it. If You are not leading, I do not want to go.
Thank You for being with me always and for never leaving me alone.
