Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20–22 (NASB)
There are moments in life when uncertainty tries to shake our confidence. We may question if things will work out, if prayers will be answered, or if God’s promises truly apply to us. But this passage reminds us of a powerful and unchanging truth: every promise of God is Yes in Christ.
God is not uncertain. He is not hesitant. His promises are not “maybe” or “we’ll see.” In Jesus, they are already established and confirmed. This means we can stand on His Word with confidence, knowing that what He has spoken is trustworthy and true.
Sometimes, our circumstances may seem to contradict what we believe. But God’s promises are not dependent on what we see—they are rooted in who He is. And He is faithful.
The passage also tells us that God establishes us. He strengthens and secures our position in Christ. We are not left to figure things out on our own—He holds us steady, even when life feels unstable.
And then comes a beautiful assurance: we are sealed by God and given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee. This means we belong to Him completely. The Spirit within us is a reminder that God’s promises are not distant—they are already at work in our lives.
When we truly understand this, our faith becomes stronger. We begin to declare “Amen”—not just with our words, but with our lives. We live with confidence, trust, and assurance in God’s faithfulness.
So today, no matter what you are facing, hold on to this truth: God’s promises are sure. They are confirmed in Christ. And they are already working for your good.
Stand firm. Believe boldly. And let your life reflect the certainty of God’s Word.

Lord God, thank You for the certainty of Your promises. Thank You that in Christ, every promise is Yes and Amen.
Help me to trust Your Word, even when my circumstances seem uncertain. Strengthen my faith and establish my heart in Your truth.
Lord, remind me that I belong to You—that I am sealed by Your Spirit and secured in Your love. Let Your promises guide my thoughts, my decisions, and my life.
Teach me to live with confidence in Your faithfulness and to stand firm in every season.
Thank You because Your Word never fails.
