Daily Prayer for Today 22nd June 2026, Monday – A Prayer to Rest in the Peace of Being Justified by Faith
Start your day with a powerful and uplifting prayer 22nd June 2026. Receive strength, guidance, and spiritual encouragement to walk in purpose, live with integrity, and reflect God’s presence in all you do.
BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 5:1
One of the greatest gifts of the gospel is peace with God.
Romans 5:1 declares that those who have been justified by faith are no longer separated from God by sin. Through Jesus Christ, we have been declared righteous in His sight and welcomed into a restored relationship with our Heavenly Father.
This peace is not based on our own goodness or perfect performance.
It is based entirely on the finished work of Christ.
Jesus took upon Himself the penalty for our sins so that all who trust in Him could be forgiven and reconciled to God. Because of His sacrifice, we no longer have to live under condemnation or fear of rejection.
What amazing grace!
When the world is filled with conflict and uncertainty, believers can experience an inner peace that comes from knowing they belong to God. Even when circumstances are difficult, the assurance of being accepted by Him remains unshaken.
This peace also changes how we live.
It frees us from striving to earn God’s love.
It gives us confidence to approach Him in prayer.
It reminds us that our identity is rooted in His grace, not in our failures or achievements.
And because we have peace with God, we can become instruments of His peace in our families, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Today, rest in the truth that through faith in Jesus Christ, you have been welcomed into God’s presence. Let His peace quiet your fears, strengthen your heart, and fill you with hope.
The God who justified you is the God who walks with you every step of the way.
Let’s Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of peace that comes through Jesus Christ. Thank You for justifying me by faith and welcoming me into Your presence.
Lord, help me to rest in the assurance of Your grace and not in my own efforts. When guilt, fear, or doubt tries to overwhelm me, remind me that my hope is found in Christ alone.
Fill my heart with Your peace and teach me to live in gratitude for the salvation You have freely given. Let that peace overflow into my relationships so that I may reflect Your love and mercy to others.
Strengthen my faith each day and help me walk confidently as Your child, knowing that You are always with me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
