There are moments in life when trouble feels unavoidable. Seasons of pressure, pain, or uncertainty can leave us feeling alone and overwhelmed. Psalm 91:15 speaks directly into those moments with a promise that brings comfort and hope—God is not distant in our trouble; He is near.
This verse begins with an invitation to relationship: “He will call on me.” God desires that we come to Him, not only in moments of strength, but especially in moments of need. Calling on the Lord is an act of trust, a declaration that we believe He hears and cares.
God’s response is immediate and personal: “I will answer him.” He is attentive to the cries of His children. Even when the answer does not come in the way or timing we expect, we can be confident that God hears every prayer and responds with wisdom and love.
Perhaps the most comforting promise is this: “I will be with him in trouble.” God does not always remove trouble instantly, but He never leaves us to face it alone. His presence brings strength, peace, and assurance that we are held securely in His hands.
