Daily Fountain Devotional 28 May 2022 MESSAGE
God promised to bring back the Israelites from their captivity and have compassion on them if they returned to Him and obeyed His words. He also promised to bring them back to the land of Israel, prosper and multiply them and circumcise their hearts to love Him so that they may live. God would prosper the work of their hands as well as the fruit of their body.
He would also increase their livestock and the produce of their land. God also set before them life and death and advised them to choose life and live. Life is a matter of choices. The Israelites had to choose disobeying God and suffering captivity or returning to Him in obedience and obtaining freedom and blessings. Everybody has to make a choice between life and death.
Your choice informs your actions. Some people choose to live a life of sin by cheating, stealing, drinking, committing adultery, murder, idolatry, bribery and corruption. Which of these sins are you involved in? They will lead you to death and hell. God is calling you today to choose a life of righteousness which will lead you to eternal life and Heaven. Embrace Jesus Christ and see your life change (2 Cor. 5:17). What choice will you make?
PRAYER: My Father, please help me to choose life and live to your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
