Daily Devotional for Today – November 20, 2025, Thursday Message
TOPIC: Come Before Him With a Song
Worship is not just a church activity—it is an invitation from God to enter His presence with joy, gratitude, and praise. Psalm 95 calls us to come, not reluctantly, but joyfully, because our God is worthy and our salvation is secure.
📖 Scripture:
“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.” — Psalm 95:1–2 (NIV)
💭 Reflection:
Joy is a choice, and worship is one of the most powerful ways to activate it. When the psalmist says, “Come, let us sing for joy,” it’s a reminder that joy often begins with a sound—a song released from a grateful heart.
God is the Rock of our salvation—steady, unchanging, and faithful. When you worship Him, you shift your focus from problems to His power, from stress to His strength, from worry to His worthiness.
Thanksgiving unlocks God’s presence.
Praise shifts atmospheres.
Worship softens the heart and strengthens the spirit.
Whether you are in a joyful season or a heavy one, worship is your weapon. When you lift your voice in thanksgiving, heaven responds, and burdens begin to break.
Today, don’t approach God silently or sorrowfully—come with a song, come with gratitude, come with worship. He delights in it, and it changes you.
🙏 Prayer Point:
Father, fill my heart with gratitude and my mouth with praise. Teach me to come before You with joy, thanksgiving, and worship every day. Let my praise bring breakthroughs and draw me deeper into Your presence, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
🕊️ Declaration:
I enter God’s presence with joy! My heart is filled with thanksgiving, my mouth is filled with praise, and my life overflows with worship. The Rock of my salvation is my strength, my song, and my victory!
