Scripture: “If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified” (1 Peter 4:14).
Summary: When ungodly people are negative toward us because of our beliefs, we can rejoice. Persecution just the way Jesus was persecuted is part of the Christian life.
DAILY CONFESSION: YOUR TONGUE IS A VERY POWERFUL INSTRUMENT. IT CAN EITHER CALL DOWN BLESSINGS FROM HEAVEN OR BRING CURSES (FAILURE) INTO YOUR LIFE. THE BIBLE SAYS, “DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE: AND THEY THAT LOVE IT SHALL EAT THE FRUIT THEREOF” (PROVERBS 18:21).
