If we believe in Jesus in the sense of accepting as true various facts about Him but do not have a true change of attitude toward God, self, sin, and holiness, we are not exercising saving faith. A living faith cannot fail to act itself out in our lives, affecting what we think and say and do.

Prayer For Today: A body separated from its spirit, O Lord, is but a corpse. And men separated from God are but spiritual corpses, cut off from the life of God. But we who know you in truth have a faith that lives and acts. Help us to live out our faith, O Lord, and to grow and increase in faith with each passing day.
