Daily Fountain Devotional 3 March 2026 TOPIC: Worship for Cleansing
SCRIPTURE READING:Â Luke 5:12-16
12Â And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13Â And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14Â And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15Â But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16Â And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
TODAY’S MESSAGE
Worship refers to the act of totaI reverence of fear for God. It involves praises, prayers, service, offering and bowing to the King of kings and Lord of lords. When we worship in truth, we enthrone God and He in turn uplifts us for good. Worship opens the gates of grace to man and helps us to offer ourselves to the glory of God. The leper in our text, approached Jesus and fell on his face (i. e. worship) and in prayers, requested for cleansing (v.12). And the Lord had mercy on him, reached out and healed him(v.13).
In the spirit of this portion of Scriptures, we declare that today is our day of cleansing from all forms of spiritual, physical, financial, social, material and academic leprosy. And the authentic channel through which to activate this declaration is ‘true worship’ (John 4:24; Matt. 2:11). “O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our maker’ (Psa. 95:6). Do this in your closet, place of worship or in any convenient place. Then expect the miracle of this ministration in Jesus’Name. Amen.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I believe, I bow, and I ask for total cleansing this day andalways. Amen
