(Second Sunday Afier Epiphuny)
TOPIC: THE MOST POWERFUL CONNECTION

TEXT: John 2:1 11(NKJV)
On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

STUDY: Many people today tend to think that the best way to secure their lives is to get connected with people that have economic and political powers. Take a close look at verse 2 and observe what makes a difference in human life. Verse 2 clearly states that Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

Your purpose in this life will never be fulfilled until you invite Jesus into your life. Jesus is always ready to honour your invitations any time you open up for Him. In Rev 3: 20, Jesus says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. 1f anyone hears my voice and opens the door, 1 will come in and dine with him and he with me. ” Imagine the type of embarrassıment this couple would have had if they had made the mistake of not inviting Jesus. Jesus can change bitter water in yourlife to sweet (Exo. 15:25).

The greatest risk in life is to live without Jesus. Jesus is the ultimate authority in this life. Get properly connected to Him. God has given you the will-power to make your choice, invite Jesus into your life and have godly peace. Overlook Him and experience embarrassment, confusion and lack of peace. He is a friend in need and indeed.

PRAYER: Reflect and take time today to ask Jesus to come and take
the central stage in your life and family.

Daily Fountain Quote of the Day

“For the Lord God will help me; therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. He is near who justifies me; who will contend with me? Let us stand together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near me. Surely the Lord God will help me; who is he who will condemn me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; the moth will eat them up.” (Isaiah 50:7)
