TOPIC: Be Persistent

SCRIPTURE: Luke 4:1 (KJV) – And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,..

MESSAGE: The devil is a defeated foe and he has no power over you except what you give him. There is however one thing the devil beats many Christians in: persistence. ‘Devil’ is not a name. It is a job description. It means one who throws consistently until he pierces through. That is why the symptoms persist or even worsen when you declare a word of healing and health over your body. You command the headache to leave, and it becomes a migraine. You declare, “THE MONEY IS COMING!” and all Hell breaks loose in your finances. Why? It is because the devil is persistent.

When Jesus was led into the wilderness, the devil brought one temptation after the other for forty days straight, but Jesus was more persistent than the devil. You have the same ability too. The devil is an old dog with no new tricks. Knowing this, you can beat him at his own game. No matter what, do not change your confession. Even if the symptoms get worse, continue to declare healing. When your children seem to have gotten a fresh dose of foolishness, continue to declare they are the heritage of the Lord. Persist with the Word, and you will win every time!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Christ in me makes me the devil’s worst nightmare! I am a flame of fire, armed with the Word, and a specialist in destroying the enemy’s agenda. In this year of Heaven on Earth, I will not back up or back down, in Jesus’ Name!
