TOPIC: Refuse a Myopic Mindset
SCRIPTURE: Numbers 13:33 (KJV) – And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
You see right there in the text what the children of Israel are doing to themselves. They have already defeated themselves to combat those they met in the promised land. A myopic mindset is defeatist; self-condemning and demeaning oneself will surely defeat the purposes of God for your life. The Spies’ impression that they are too little and could be crushed like human beings stepping on grasshoppers is myopic. Who is keeping that desire and fire to enter business burning in you? Surely, it’s the Lord’. He has already started the good work in you. You must apprehend this and begin to move into unchartered territories.
It’s about time you start this business that you have long desired, now is the time to go global and create an impact that will survive generations. Today as you are moved by the Holy Spirit, do not relax, don’t be like the spies that belittle themselves in their own eyes. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:….” Stop being myopic in your thinking and see God expand the frontiers of possibilities for your rising in Jesus’ name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am born for greatness, called to conquer territories for Christ. I cannot fail and will never undermine God’s agenda for me. I shall excel and grow in Jesus’ name. Amen!
